Dani & Devin's Art Deco Wedding

Dani and Delvin’s Art Deco Wedding

I met Dani last year at the McKinney Bridal show with her bridesmaid and friends. We hit it off immediately, especially when she shared how fond she was of art deco. She fell in love with my “Gatsby” themed invitation suite and over the following months we worked on personalizing everything to make it something unique. We’ve become friends and I Iove her spunky personality and big heart. These photo’s she sent along are so beautiful, and made all the more stunning by how beautiful she is.

Erin & Cameron — Palm Springs, CA

I wanted to share with everyone some amazing photo’s I received from a wonderful client of mine! Erin and Camerons Palm Springs wedding looked beautiful! We worked together for many months to create some amazing mid-century modern meets desert stationery — map, programs, menu’s, seating chart, napkins — that completed the entire look of the day. I love getting the opportunity to see my work in the setting it was intended. She was so amazing to work with and such a sweet person, and really enjoyed the time we had together on this project. They are a BEAUTIFUL couple and she is absolutely GORGEOUS! I am so happy that CW Designs could play a role in such an amazing day in their lives. Thanks to her Erin for sending me the shots and to the obviously talented Daniel Neal at Daniel Neal Photography for his keen eye! Erin was nice enough to send me a list of all her vendors, so check them out as well.

Mid-Century Palm Springs Wedding Monogram

Carol created this monogram for client's Erin and Cameron by taking elements of modern mid century and Art Deco design to create something totally unique. The monograms here are what they settle on.

Emily & Alex's South Beach Wedding!

Getting engaged, and the subsequent journey to the big day is a very exciting time — a journey filled with parties, planning and the occasional headache. Many times, I am contacted soon after engagement by enthusiastic brides ready to hit the ground running planning their dream wedding. I love it when I am able to work with a client throughout their engagement because I know that when we’re done the wedding day will be the easy part. A little planning up front really goes a long way, and while I am not a wedding planner, the items I design are meant to bring cohesiveness, order and beauty to the wedding day. The perfect color palette, typeface, theme, and timing are all important aspects when it comes to having a smooth running wedding and reception. Check out what I was able to do for Alex and Emily!

A Modern Classic

Over a year a go we started working with a wonderful bride, Natalie, on her upcoming wedding in Los Angeles. She and her fiancé have classic taste, but wanted something a little more unique. We went to work on a design that incorporated the aspects of a traditional wedding invitation suite with a modern twist. The classic script combined with a modern monogram brought together the old and new and the muted colors along with a bold blue only pulled the entire ensemble together. Natalie loved the look so much that she decided to carry the look throughout her entire wedding. From the wedding map, seating chart, menus, and place cards, to party favors and totes, the look was flawless. It was almost as flawless as the couple themselves! This really highlights how a wedding can truly be unique without sacrificing your style. It was a blast designing this set and working with such a sweet couple. Congratulations, Ben and Natalie! Remember, beauty is in the details. LOVE. DESIGN. PAPER.
